35+ years behind us. A new generation taking roofing forward.

RK Steels started as a roofing material shop serving Panchkula and the villages around it. Over 35 years the Tricity changed considerably — sectors filled in, industry grew along the Zirakpur and Mohali belts, and roofing moved from plain GI to colour-coated, polycarbonate and insulated panels.

The business kept pace by doing three things consistently: stocking what customers actually ask for, buying from brands that stay consistent, and telling people plainly when a cheaper material will do the job — or when it will not.

The third generation now runs the shop. The direction is straightforward: a wider range with PUF panels as a growth category, better documentation of products and specifications, and a proper digital front for a business most people currently find by word of mouth.

What has not changed is the yard at Maheshpur, the suppliers, and the fact that you can walk in, look at the material and talk to someone who knows roofs.
